Jinkx delivers a spoken-word monologue in the character of Little Edie, whom Drag Race viewers will remember from the Snatch Game episode. But instead of campy humor, Jinkx’s performance in “Schizophrenic” highlights Edie’s fiery defence of her integrity, as well as her anguish at being misunderstood and ridiculed.
This expressive monologue is set to Two Dudes in Love’s most ambitious musical effort to date. “Schizophrenic” beings with mournful chords and a sombre bassline before morphing into a raging, acidic techno banger, dramatically emphasizing the range of emotions in Jinkx’s performance.
