San Francisco’s Mat dos Santos and David Sternesky are Two Dudes in Love, a DJ/producer couple.
United by a mutual passion for music, Mat and David quickly discovered they were soulmates. They wield their musical and emotional chemistry in equal measure whether they are producing original songs, remixing another artist, or DJing to an audience of happy dancers. Two Dudes in Love are currently working on new original songs and remixes. The single “Schizophrenic” featuring Jinkx Monsoon, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, was released on May 7. Other recent releases include the single “All You Do” and a remix of “Deviant” by Double Duchess. Additional tracks to be released later this year include a remix of “Don’t You Want” by the SyntheTigers and the original track “Yellow Box” to be released on the first ever Gays Hate Techno compilation.
Between the two of them, they’ve DJed in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, and San Francisco, where they’ve played at the DeYoung Museum, Public Works, 222 Hyde, Booty Call, Bearracuda, and more. They were part of the team that produced the ROCKET parties at Rickshaw Stop, and they DJed several parties at Burning Man 2012. They have contributed podcasts to Bottom Forty, Gays Hate Techno, Honey Soundsystem, Electronic Music Bears, and Want It! Radio.
